Oh, not me not a lone voice making triumphant noises and even quoting biblical at that.
Oh yea! The soul of the nation America is fired up.
We the People are mighty when we resist and unite.
“For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind.” Hosea 8 : 7
They sowed division. We answered with democracy.
They fanned fear. We rose in unity.
They tried to silence justice. We turned the tide.
To everything turn, turn, turn.
There is a season turn, turn, turn.
And a time for every purpose under heaven.
This season, the people spoke.
From Wisconsin, where voters delivered a decisive win for judicial independence electing Justice Susan Crawford to the State Supreme Court,
to Florida, where ballots pushed back extremism and restored local balance,
to New York City, where Mayor Zohran Mamdani and newly appointed judges reflect fairness, inclusion, and civic conscience
the message was unmistakable: We the People still hold the line.
In Virginia, Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger carried the mantle of pragmatic progress.
In New Jersey, Governor Mikie Sherrill turned back cynicism with clarity and competence.
Across these states the wave rose, and democracy won.
In California, Proposition 50 cleared the way for a fairer congressional map realignment through 2030 that safeguards representation, not privilege.
These were not isolated sparks they were a wildfire of renewal.
The autocrats who sought control became the stimulus for reform.
The arrogance of power awakened the conscience of the governed.
Out of the fire came clarity.
Out of the noise, conscience.
Out of apathy, action.
They sowed the wind We turned the tide.
